Each month we will count the number of boxtops brought in by our students. Whichever classroom brings in the most boxtops per student (# of boxtops divided by the number of students) will receive the “Captain Boxtop” trophy to be displayed in their classroom for the month.
At the end of the year the grade level who has brought in the most boxtops per student, will receive a free pizza party, compliments of the school.
Students (and parents, too) may keep track of their grade level's performance on the “pizza pie chart” next to the Professional Library on the 2nd floor.
Remember, each boxtop is worth ten cents to our school. That does not seem like a lot; however, last year, we received a check for $2,014! Sacred Heart placed 12th out of the 999 schools in Nebraska that participated in the program. Our goal this year is to earn $2,500 and finish in the top 10 in Nebraska.
